Custom Handwound P90 Replacement Pickups

Creamery Handwound Replacement Vintage, Modern & Custom P90 Pickups

Vintage, Classic, Modern & Alternative Design Replacement P90 Soapbar, Dogear & Casino Pickups

Fatter, fuller & grittier than standard single coils, these replacement P90 Soapbar, Dogear & Casino pickups are based on vintage, modern & custom designs, geared towards different sounds & styles of play. I do pay homage to the classic original specifications still loved to this day, whilst also making new & unique alternative designs as direct drop-in replacements - for those looking for something a little different or less traditional.

Whether it be the raw, vintage Les Paul Jnr sound, through Goldtops to modern day grittier, higher output and hum-cancelling (humbucker) versions, I've designed a replacement P90 Soapbar & Dogear range to suit the sounds you're after and the styles you play.

If you're after a custom set of replacement P90 pickups, just get in touch with the kind of voice/output you're after and we can work on the right design for you.

Classic P90

Classic & Vintage Replacement P90 Pickups

Classic '53 (Dogear or Soapbar)

Creamery Custom Handwound Classic 53 P90 Pickup

Magnets Alnico 2, 3, 4 or 5
Coil Wire 42AWG
Lead Wire Vintage Braided
Bridge Output 7.5k
Neck Output 7.1k

Vintage Spec Replacement P90 Pickup based on the original early '50s design now in a choice of magnet options and available in either Dogear or Soapbar style Covers

Slightly lower output than the '57 and with a little less attack it has increased clarity & definition. This is my brighter P90 similar to the old pickups of the early '50s. Rounder in sound than a traditional Strat or Tele single coil with that fatter, grittier, warmer P90 voice part way between a single-coil and humbucker the Classic '53 P90 pickup won't drive an amp as much as the '57 P90, staying cleaner sounding.

The Alnico 2 being a slightly weaker magnet than the 4 or 5, helps to give an overall warmer, more vintage style voice - Alnico 3 sweeter still. A great P90 pickup for those jazzier sounds where warmth, sweetness and string definition are all balanced. The stonger Alnico 5 magnets help to give a brighter attack with a little more punch.

Single conductor, braided shield lead wire. Available in Soapbar or Dogear style.

Classic & Vintage Replacement P90 Pickups

Classic '57 (Dogear or Soapbar)

Creamery Replacement P90 Pickups - Classic '57 P90

Magnets Alnico 2, 3, 4 or 5
Coil Wire 42AWG
Lead Wire Vintage Braided
Bridge Output 8.3k
Neck Output 7.5k

Vintage Spec Replacement P90 Pickup based on the original late '50s design now in a choice of magnet options and available in either Dogear or Soapbar style Covers

A higher output than my Classic '53 that gives a fatter, fuller body P90 sound with that dirt & grit when driven - a little warmer with real attack, grunt and definition. A great lead P90 sound for a bridge position pickup with a sweeter warmth in the neck.

Single conductor, braided shield lead wire. Available in Soapbar or Dogear style.

Custom/Hum-Cancelling Designs

Creamery Custom & Alternative Design P90 Pickups

Custom '13 P90 Dogear

Custom '13 Dirty Northern Hum-Cancelling P90 Dogear Pickup

Magnets Trio of Custom Made Magnets. Alnico 2 or 5 Bar & Alnico 5 Threaded Rods
Coil Wire 42AWG
Lead Wire Vintage Braided or 4-way
Bridge Output 8.4k

Custom Designed P90 Dogear Bridge

Three types of custom magnets for crunchy, crisp, clear & defined lower strings - sweeter, creamier, milkier higher strings for a richer sound. Custom designed with Bernard Sumner of Joy Division / New Order.

We worked on the design of this pickup together when he wanted something edgier from the Gibson LP Jnr Double Cutaway he picked up. He has a number of vintage guitars (and old Vox amps) but wanted something different for the new live dates and recording. We spent time playing his old original Gibson ES 330 that just sounded perfect, just a really sweet yet gritty sound that really snarled when pushed. It has Dogear P90s but they just had something more than the standard P90 sound but the two issues he had where, it had just been too precious to take out on tour for a number of years and with it having single coil P90s, it hummed, both live and in the studio with all the synths & equipment. In comparison, his Gibson SG and the early 90s LP Jnr he picked up just sounded a little sterile in comparison.

Clearer, more defined E, A & D strings - Creamier, Warmer G, B & E strings

So the task was not to recreate the sound of the ES 330 but take its characteristics and make a similar Dogear P90 size pickup to fit the new LP Jnr that kept the colour and edge to the sound but with clearer, more defined and ‘punkier' lower E, A & D strings whilst somehow being warmer, creamier & milkier on the higher G, B & E strings. So rather than try and make some kind of hum-cancelling P90 we decided to just start again from scratch and make a new design of pickup to balance these two ideas, clearer, more defined & crunchier E, A & D strings whilst somehow being able to roll off the treble slightly on the higher G, B & E strings for less of a single coil sound and more towards the richer, fuller humbucker sound. To get the crisper, crunchier lower notes in a humbucker often means less coil and a lower output which can give the higher strings more treble - the task was to reconcile these two ideas, clear, crunchier lower strings with warmer highs with a higher output to push the amp a little more.

This is where the unique design came about after a few different prototypes - Individual sets of custom made & sized threaded rod magnets of opposing polarity and different strengths underneath the lower E, A & D strings with a double pole humbucker design underneath the G, B & E strings, again with custom made magnets hidden away underneath the offset coils for these strings. Outputwise, we wanted it to really push his naturally brighter vintage VOX AC30 amps for a really attacking, edgier sound.

Road Testing on Tour

He took the final prototype out on tour and chose to showcase the new design live onstage as they played their first new material in years at the Lollapalooza festival (I was streaming it live)

After the gigs, and with the pickup performing well onstage he asked me to make a bridge & neck humbucker sized set to the same spec for his ’62 SG.

He took these back out on the road and gave them a good road test on the short US tour later that month and his final review was, "Back home now and gave the pickups a good trial on tour. Verdict fantastic! Improved both my guitars. The humbuckers have bags of tone and character! The old Gibson ones sound cold and neutral in comparison. Totally pleased. You’ve sure done something right and well impressed the band, me and the crew! I’ve been bigging you up to everyone!"

A great replacement humbucker for a standard P90 Dogear Bridge and if you'd like a fatter, crunchier style replacement hum-cancelling pickup for your Les Paul Jnr Guitar.

Magnet Options

The magnets under the lower E, A & D strings are custom sized, custom made threaded Alnico 5 whereas the lower G, B & E strings can have either Alnico 2 or the stronger Alnico 5 - Alnico 2, being a little weaker 'holds' the strings a little less, allowing them to vibrate a little more, adding a little more warmth to the overall sound whereas Alnico 5, being that bit stronger, 'holds' the strings a little more for a little brighter attack & focus.

Creamery Custom & Alternative Design P90 Pickups

Baby '71 - Standard P90 Dogear Sized

Creamery Replacement P90 Pickups - Baby 71 Wide Range Humbucker Standard P90 Dogear sized

Magnets Individual Threaded Magnets
Coil Wire 42AWG
Lead Wire Vintage Braided or Modern 4-Way
Bridge Output 9.0k
Neck Output 7.8k

The Wide Range sound in a standard/regular P90 Dogear size

Classic fat "Doubled Up" single coil tones - Great clarity and string definition with a bright chime & warmth. Individual threaded pole magnets charged to around 2/3rds capacity allow you to dial in each string. A warmer mid-range than standard single coils and with a higher output, they're great for breaking up an amp. With a great fat bridge tone sounding akin to a "doubled-up" Tele and a neck with a warm, sweet brightness, these Wide Range / Thinline Humbucker style pickups are a great if you're looking for something more to replace a standard P90 Dogear.

Slightly brighter with a tighter focus that my full-size Classic '71 Wide Range / Thinline Humbucker repros due to the slightly narrower coil and slightly lower output.

Available with either Vintage Braided or 4-Way wiring, the cover options are black or cream covers and I can also age them a little.

A great versatile replacement Wide Range Humbucker Pickup for your Les Paul Junior.

PLEASE NOTE: These pickups are a direct drop-in to fit a standard regular P90 Dogear Size and unlike a number of other similar styled pickups which are essentially a standard humbucker with bar magnet, these are true to the spirit of the old Seth Lover Wide Range / Thinline humbuckers with threaded magnets and ferrous internal reflector plate.
PLEASE NOTE: Only available in the taller bridge height Dogear Covers - If you have a need a neck position pickup in the shallower or slanted cover (Casinos etc) Sorry but these won't fit)

Creamery Custom & Alternative Design P90 Pickups

P90 Sized "Hidden" Humbucker

Creamery Custom Handwound P90 Dual Blade Humbucker Sized Pickup

Magnets Alnico 2 or 5
Coil Wire 43AWG
Lead Wire Vintage Braided or 4-way
Bridge Output 12.8k
Neck Output 10.7k

Dual Alnico Blade Humbucker in a standard P90 Soapbar or Dogear Size

Brighter, Crunchier P90 Soapbar or Dogear Sized Humbucker Pickup

A dual blade magnet humbucker pickup inside a P90 that requires no modifications to your guitar at all. My P90 sized Humbuckers even look like a P90 - Once installed, no-one will spot the difference until you plug in and play.

Great string definition & clarity due to the dual Alnico blade magnets. More of a crunchy "Doubled up" hum-cancelling sound than the fat single coil voice of my classic P90, these new P90 sized dual blade Humbucker Pickups give a rich, crunchy and bright attack. More of a Firebird sound than a traditional Gibson/PAF Humbucker.

All the depth of a traditional humbucker with the sparkle of a crunchy single coil. The two, thin 43awg coils help give a slightly warmer mid-range which balances the brighter frequencies of this versatile design. Although it has a seemingly high output, it really has more of a traditional humbucker power/volume etc - the overwound design of thinner coil wire just helps give more mid-range for a fatter, warmer sound.

NOTE: My Chrome or Nickel Dogear Covers have curved undersides for archtop guitars.

Bridge Output 11.0k
Neck Output 9.8k

Creamery Custom Guitars and Handwound Pickups - Made in Manchester - Audio Demo

Sorry, currently Out of Stock

P90 Sized 12-Pole Humbucker - Soapbar

More of a traditional bar magnet style humbucker pickup inside a P90 that requires no modifications to your guitar at all. Its essentially the standard humbucker design of two coils with bar magnet and steel pole screws. The slight difference, other than the size & look, is that I use a series of 5 magnets designed to fit around the 2 central fixing screws. I do this to make the pickup a completely direct drop-in replacement.

Unlike other P90-sized PAF style humbuckers, there's no need to drill new mounting holes into the body of your guitar with mine. No modifications necessary to your guitar.

More of a warmer, classic humbucker tone than my dual-blade design, slightly brighter and more focused as I allow both rows of pole screws through the custom made covers.

I use the thinner 43AWG coil wire on this design which means the actual perceived volume will be lower than the high output would suggest, namely around 8.8k Bridge & 7.8k Neck respectively - The slightly higher output compensates for the slightly taller, thinner coils.

Creamery Custom & Alternative Design P90 Pickups

P90 Sized 'Fat' Humbucker for Dogear

PCreamery Custom Handwound Replacement P90 Sized Fat Humbucker for Dogear P90

Magnets Alnico 2, 3, 4 or 5
Coil Wire 42AWG
Lead Wire Vintage Braided or 4-way
Bridge Output 8.4k
Neck Output 7.3k

P90 Sized Fat Bridge or Neck Humbucker - Designed for P90 Dogear

PLEASE NOTE: Only available in the taller Dogear Covers - If you need a neck pickup in the shallower/slanted cover (Casinos etc) Sorry but these won't fit)

More of a warmer, PAF style P90 Dogear sized Bridge or Neck Position Humbucker. A bar magnet PAF style humbucker pickup inside a P90 Dogear that requires no modifications to your guitar at all. Its essentially the standard humbucker design of two coils with bar magnet and steel pole and/or screws. A completely direct drop-in replacement with your choice of Alnico 2, 3, 4 or 5 magnets.

Warmer, classic humbucker tones with the option of more traditional 6 visible pole screws and hidden steel slugs under the cover or 12 visible pole screws. P90 Dogear covers, although made of plastic, are quite thick meaning the hidden steel slugs are just that little bit further away from the strings whereas the full set adjustable pole screw option means all 12 pole screws can be adjusted to suit your neck radius or to dial in individual strings for emphasis. I offer both these options as some customers prefer the more vintage humbucker 'look' whereas others want more clarity & definition.

A great replacement humbucker for standard P90 Dogear Pickups and if you'd like a PAF style replacement humbucker for your Les Paul Jnr Guitar.

Sonic-Six - P90 Sized Single Coil Pickup

True, Clear Single Coil Sound - With Individual Threaded Height Adjustable Magnets so you can dial in & balance each string - Dogear or Soapbar

Available in three outputs, a brighter, low-output version of 7.5k Bridge & 7.1k Neck, a mid-output set of 8.4k Bridge & 7.5k Neck and a fatter, hotter 12.0k Bridge & 9.2k Neck. Similar in appearance and the exact same size as a standard P90, the Sonic-Six P90 pickup has individual threaded magnets to keep much more clarity & string definition. The lower & medium output version use specific 42AWG coil wire to give a fatter single coil but with more brightness and less warmth than a standard P90. The higher output version uses specific 43AWG coil wire to balance output whist still keeping clarity & that fat brightness and attacking single-coil sound - just fatter & fuller.

I've spent a lot on these, changing the size of the Alnico 5 threaded magnets and bobbin size a number of times to get these just right. If you're after that bright, fat crunch, chime & sparkle from a standard P90 size then the Sonic-Six pickups may be just the ones for you.

Available as a Soapbar style in White, Aged White (Cream), Black or Chrome (Plated Nickel Silver not Plastic) covers or as a Dogear style in Aged White (Cream) or Black covers. Vintage braided wire.

Creamery P90 Pickup Reviews

Creamery Custom Replacement Humbucker Pickups - Reviews

Its great when I get positive feedback from customers, and good reviews & word-of-mouth really help the custom shop maker so with this in mind, I've created this page of reviews.

All the comments below were either emailed to me or posted to my Twitter or Facebook pages.

Have a read through what others are saying about my replacement P90 Pickups and get in touch if you'd like me to custom make some pickups for you. I don't have pickups all boxed up ready to send out, each order is custom made which means I can modify the specifications to suit you, your playing and your guitar.

Back home now and gave the pickups a good trial on tour. Verdict fantastic! Improved both my guitars. The humbuckers have bags of tone and character! The old Gibson ones sound cold and neutral in comparison. Totally pleased. You’ve sure done something right and well impressed the band, me and the crew! I’ve been bigging you up to everyone!

Bernard Sumner - Custom '13 Humbucker for P90 Dogear

Shall be breaking it in tonight at the Olympic Stadium Barcelona... I gave it a quick blast during soundcheck through Matts rig and both me and Jason (Matts tech) agreed it sounded pretty damn good…

Loving the sound of the pickup combinations..definitely doing all the things I hoped and more...have a feeling its going to see a lot of use in the studio as well as live...

Morgan Nicholls - Custom Hidden 12-Pole Humbucker (Chrome P90 Dogear) Bridge / Sonic '60 Neck

I LOVE that P90, Jaime. Such a great sounding pickup.

Alex Kapranos - Custom Hum-90

Thanks Jamie. Great Bluesier sound. Been using it in the studio.

Freddie Cowan - Strat-90 Bridge

The Casino is sounding amazing through the tremolux! It's a beast thanks to you. Couldn't be happier with the sound Jaime. Guitars on the new record are a great ad for your work sir - Edwyn and Seb LOVED the sounds!!

Fancy a wee plug on the sleeve??

Joe McAlinden - Classic '61 Casino Set

I installed the pickups on friday and they sound great. the sound is excellent with plenty of definition. These are just the pickups i was looking for. Thanks again

Laurent Kinzinger - P90 Sized Fat Humbucker Bridge

Hi Jaime, Just got my Lp Jr back from the tech who installed the p90 and had a jam session with a full band last night with it - absolutely delighted with the tone and clarity. Was just the sort of sound I was after, Thanks a million for everything! Will be in touch in the future as i have my eye on a mustang/jag/jazzy which I’m sure i won’t be happy with the stock pickups in :p Thanks again Jaime

Sarah Dempsey - Custom '13 Dogear Bridge

Hi Jaime, Pick ups are in and sound like a dream - exactly as I had hoped. Excited to play new guitar with these beasts next weekend in Paris for their live debut :)

UPDATE: Love these pick-ups so much! going to have to deck out all my guitars with them :) Great live and on recordings too!

Lyla Foy - Strat-90 Set

Just wanted to let you know, received pickups couple weeks ago and have put them in my project. Gotta tell you, they are really nice. Respond to picking attack like crazy, and articulate? Wow, clear as a bell! Strum a chord and you can hear all the notes! Love them!

Mike Willey - ’57 P90 Set

The Casino P90's I had from you recently are just wicked, so much better than the Epiphone's.

Chris Randell - Classic ’61 Casino Set

First of all, thank you very much for the p90s, they sound great !!!! Even better than I thought it would ! this is just amazing.

Remi Wallois - Classic ’61 Casino Set

The P90 pickup is truly excellent the tones are just what I was looking for. thank you very much.

John McNeil - Classic ’57 P90 Bridge

I got to let you know I just installed a pair of your classic '57 p90s into my LP and I am thoroughly impressed!

Daniel Wong - Classic ’57 P90 Set

I recently bought a P90 sized Fat Humbucker (neck pickup) from you and absolutely love it, thanks for that!! I'm now looking to get a replacement bridge ;-)

Mike Grimshaw - P90 Sized Fat Humbucker (Neck)

First impressions are very good. Not like a full size PAF but excellent sounding. Thanks a lot for all your excellent service!

Jorge Goncalves - P90 Fat Humbucker - Neck

I just wanted to thank you for the p90s you made me. They fitted the Tokai like a glove, and they sound great. It's hard to put my finger on the sound. They still do clean better than other humbuckers, but handle gain (even high gain) fantastic. Oh and the best think is that they are noise free! It's great to be able to play my guitar without be offended by the buzz. I know some can't live without the noise but I don't feel like a lost anything sound wise, on the contrary I've just gained on all accounts!

Thank you very much! I know who to turn to next time!

Mark Hanna - P90 Hidden Humbucker Set

Really pleased with how it's sounding in the guitar,

Matt Isaac - P90 Sized ‘Fat’ Humbucker Bridge

The guitar sings beautifully now. Keep up the good work, Jaime!

Csaba Farkas - P90 Fat Humbucker Set

Sound absolutely incredible!

Scott McColl - Tele-90 set

Just wired the pickups in and they sound FANTASTIC. Really authentic Tele tone and the P90 in the middle gives a great boost to the output when I need it. I've wired the middle out of phase so it's got some great Strat-like sounds too! Will try to get some pictures in the daylight as the artificial lighting at home doesn't do it justice. Thanks again! Cheers

Jake Fortescue - Tele-90 set

I’ve now got both pickups installed, one in a LP junior and the other in a custom made Cabronita Tele and they both sound very good indeed! Thank you.

Keith Marwick - P90 Dogear Bridge | Classic Black Cat Bridge

I bought a couple of tele pickups from you a while ago, and i love them. Theyre incredible! In fact i love them so much, that i’m planning on eventually purchasing pickups from you for my other two guitars in the future!

Logan Ciappa - Alt ’88 Tele Bridge - Tele-90 Neck

Just to let you know I got the pickups yesterday. I’ve fitted them and they are the business. They’re both great and work really well together (two peas in a pod), but the neck pickup in particular is absolutely bang on. So much more clarity and umph over the old P90. ‘Another Brick in the Wall solo’, sharp. Brilliant. Thanks very much for dealing with my difficultness. Absolute quality and great customer service. I’ll recommend you when and wherever I can. Very happy.

Matt Gibson - P90 Sized "Hidden" Humbucker Bridge

The pickup is sounding really good, very pleased with it, it’s got some great sustain in it and it really responds under drive. I think it really brings the actual tonewood out as well. I though it cleans and warms up really nicely, so I also put a couple more clean tones down.

Matt Isaac - P90 Sized “Fat” Humbucker Bridge

Finally I am hearing my telecaster sounding exactly like it should, it's really quite magic and the pickups are singing with gritty glory. My tech has been won over, so hopefully you'll find some more orders coming in from Notts. Keep doing what you do! All the best.

Nick Jonah Davies - Tele-90 Set

Just to say I finally found time to fit the pickup. It genuinely sounds amazing and has rescued a beautiful guitar that I just felt I was going to have to sell. This has given the guitar the beautiful single coil sound I was looking for with the versatility to fatten things up a bit for a texas blues sound. The guitar retains its own character so compliments my other guitars beautifully. Thanks so much

Pete Curtis - Custom Tapped P90

Just wanted to let you know that I received the pickups and installed them. They sound incredible! Myself and my luthier and my band are all pretty much blown away by the quality. Unbelievably clear and articulate. Amazing job. Thank you very much,

Bryant Emerson - P90 Sized ‘Fat’ Humbucker Set

I Just installed a set of your pups (P90-neck and over-wound tele in the bridge position) on a tele thin line. The owner of the guitar was ecstatic, He loves the sounds.

John Kiriakatis - Alt ’88 Tele Bridge, Tele-90 Neck

Purchased some tele p90 pick-ups from you about a year ago and they are dangerous!

John Beinke - Tele-90 Set

I have just re-installed the new pups (got the hot and ground mixed up). I can say they have completed my SG. Your pups match the sound in my head and for that I thank you. I can't wait to get back later to run them through the entire rig and see what sounds I can get.

Mark Davies - Hum-90 Bridge, Domino Neck

Installed your pickup on Friday and noticed an immediate improvement. Did an A/B with my historic doublecut junior and they are very close. Yours seems a little brighter with better definition on the bass end, and overall makes a great improvement to the ‘57. Gigged it on Saturday and was complemented on my sound so all is good. Thanks.

Stuart Hurley - ’57 P90 Dogear

I went to take the guitar back this morning from the luthier, and what can I say? They sound great, are awesome! Thanks, thanks a lot!

Miguel Gallego - Classic ’61 Casino Set

Hi Jaime. Just wanted to say thank you. Pick ups arrived yesterday morning (saturday), I fitted them straight away and as your reputation was so good , I took a chance and actually gigged with them last night with no back up whatsoever.

All I can say is AWESOME, So clear and just improved the sound 500 percent. Cheers mate, I will spread the word...

Nick Foti - Classic ’61 Casino Set

I'm replying to let you know that the new p90 humbuckers you made finally got fitted, The Pickups are great!

I had a few issues with the guitar I was installing them into, I wanted to get that fixed at the same time so it took a while to get the guitar back. They sound wonderful, great clarity and Chime but with a nice fuller humbuckers sound which is nice and warm. I had the guitar coil split so I could take full advantage of all the possible sounds available through the pickups, really great!

Martin Macrae - P90 Sized Humbucker Set

I'm thrilled with the P-90 sized humbucker you made for me

Martin Sullivan - P90 Sized Humbucker

Hi Jaime,The pickups sound wonderful, many thanks :)

Krysalan Hawk - Strat-90 Set

Hi Jaime, Just put it in today and it sounds KILLER!!!!

Very articulate and clear, even with heavy overdrive. It can get nasty as hell, but does the clean chime thing very nicely as well.

I'm tempted to rip the HB's out of my SG... You make an awesome product my friend!!!!

Gary Porter - Hum-90 Bridge

Hiya Jaime, I just got my guitars back a couple of days ago with the new pickups. They're a MASSIVE improvement in every way! Both sets are fuller, louder and more responsive, just a great set of pickups!

Kieran McGee - Jag-90 Set

Hi Jaime, I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thank you for the P90 Sized Fat Humbucker I just received.

I got it as a replacement for a slightly wild p90 that came in the bridge of my baritone, the pickup fitted in the space left by the old pickup perfectly and I now have that lovely tight and focused sound I was after!

Thanks once again and keep up the good work,

Matt Goss - P90 Sized Fat Humbucker

Dear Jaime, I have got my Custom Shop 50s Gold Top back from Charlie Chandler, with the two pick ups you made, installed. They sound better than I imagined possible, the PAF is fantastic and the p90 balances with it beautifully, together they sound great too. I love closely voiced pick ups and this pair are subtly different and switching from neck to bridge or back the change in extremely useful authentic tone is pure magic. Thank you very much, you have created a masterpiece! All the Best David.

David Chesterman - Creamery '59 Bridge & calibrated Hum-90 Neck

Just to let you know I got the pickups fitted, eventually, yesterday. I have a full rehearsal tonight, but even with 5 mins at home I can tell that these pups are gems!! They'll be staying in the guitar for sure.

BTW, I had a local guys fit them for me, Robert van der Linde, who was RAVING about your pickups! I don't know of you know him, but he's been a guitar builder in the past (Cadillac Guitars) and he' starting up again, saying he will use your pickups.

Peter Graham - P90 Sized Humbucker Set

I bought a set of P90s from you a couple of months ago, unfortunately my guitar repairman has been quite ill so it has taken a while to get them fitted. They are now fitted. They have transformed the guitar and it sounds mighty! If I upgrade anything else in the future, you'll be my first port of call.

Frank Robinson - Hum-90 Set

Man, what I have to say is: what a incredible sound!!! I do not know what kind of magic you did but all I know it sounded great! Well worth the wait. Thank You so much.

Ruy Sarno - Classic ’61 Casino Set

The '61 Casino PU's are absolutely amazing

Mik Thybo - Classic '61 Casino Set

You rock! My P90 made me not looking further, it's amazing!

Micke Gustavsson - Classic '57 P90 Bridge

Dear Jaime, First of all, these pups ROCK!! I love them, they have delivered more than I expected. I really like the no 2 and 4 positions for cleans/dirty cleans, and 1,3 and 5 for higher gain settings.

Pater Sundstrom - Strat-90 Set

Hi Jamie. Just put the pickups in my casino. Wow man! Great job. Dynamics are great, the bridge has got evil bite!! Way cool!

Mik Thybo - Classic '61 Casino Set

I can tell you that they sound magnificent!

They really retain the character of an normal single coil, but fatter. In an ideal world I would perhaps want even more of the P90, but the Strat-90s still gives me the "strattyness" a P90 would not. So basically they are something in between a P90 and a strat single coil, and that was just what I was looking for. The 2 and 4 positions sound as the should, but I find that I use the bridge and the neck the most. They have that beefier sound that I would more expect from a P90. I haven't been able to use the bridge before in this guitar with high gain, so I very happy with the sound. I did retain the 250k pots, and I felt that was a good choice, 500k would have been too bright.

Peter Sundstrom - Strat-90 Set

Put them in yesterday, guitar needed to settle after being stripped down and having a different brand of strings on. Sounded pretty good last night, they sounded superb today.

Most noticeably the dynamics of them, play gently with your fingers and they are totally clean, give t!hem some stick with a thick plectrum and they roar without changing any amp settings.

Very clear sounding, just what I wanted. I can now do clean blues to classic rock just by altering my picking, amazing. For me they are the perfect balance between a Strat single coil and a humbucker.

Nick Smith - Hum-90 Set

Hi jaime, I got it last thursday, had a couple of rehearsals and i can say I’m really satisfied with it. the sound is sharp, punchy, convex, bright enough and chimey enough, and very responsive to dynamics of strumming

Hi Jaime, I have just re-installed the new pups (got the hot and ground mixed up). Only had 5 minutes to run them through the amp but from that 5 minutes I can say they have completed my SG. Your pups match the sound in my head and for that I thank you. I can't wait to get back later to run them through the entire rig and see what sounds I can get.

Hi Jamie, I put the p90 in and it sounds great!

Ray Russell - Strat-90 Bridge

The humbucker is a vast improvement on the stock one, it has clarity and attack without being too harsh, and when split gives a fantastic Tele bridge pick up tone.

The P90 mixes well with the humbucker, and has that great smooth P90 sound. Altogether I'm damn happy with them.

Simon Smith - 12-Pole Wide Range Humbucker & Calibrated P90 Neck

thanks for the pickups. I received them yesterday and installed them today. They sound awesome. Compared to my 'Crafted in Japan' ones they sound a lot fuller.

Florian Weinhart - Jazzmaster P90 Pickup Set

I got the pickup today and I got it on my 1960 TV Junior right away and it was as brilliant as I thought. Nice body and clarity. Nice response to turning down on the guitar volume pot.

Micke Gustavsson - Classic '57 P90 Bridge

Hi Jaime, After some band inactivity thru the Summer months I have finally started to use your sublimely voiced 1957 chrome dogear P90's you made for my 1997 Korean Epi Casino.

The tonality is inspired and these little works of art have made this cheap guitar really shine.

I play 50's style vintage blues and have a bunch of great old 50's guitars that are now taking a back seat, as my nitro-fueled Casino has such a range of warm jump sounds melded with some real gnarly bridge tones that it's become my current go-to for studio and gigs.

Just wanted to say thanks for the perfect pair! I am so happy with these '57's and would certainly highly recommend The Creamery to anyone. It's great to support a UK builder too. Very best mate!

Ade Miller - ’57 P90 Dogear Set

Hey Jaime - Pickups sound great! Definitely gives me a different palette of sounds compared tomy my previous set up! Thanks again!

Micah McCuistion - Tele-90 Bridge & Neck Set

Hi Jamie, All worked fine, pup is in! It sounds really good, very impressed! Thanks for the help,

Matt Isaac - P90 Sized ‘Fat’ Humbuckers

Great stuff. Thanks so much!! They’re a massive improvement! I’m not generally a P90 guy, but they sound fantastic. That syrupy Another Brick in the Wall solo tone is just right there.. :D

Mike Riddle - Classic ’61 Casino Set

Pickups fitted and they sound fantastic

Peter Aviziurs

The P90 sized Humbuckers sound beautiful! Many thanks

Pete Fletcher

Earthquake again? No! Your Humbucker sized P90 pickup shakes this house, Thanks.

aki4cris from eBay

Just great pickups. Brought my Epiphone Goldtop to life. Thanks.

Simon Harris

Thanks for the custom P90s, they sound fantastic

Glenn Fowler

Just wanted to say thanks for the work done on this fantastic neck P90. The Alnico 4 & the low vintage wind matches perfectly with the TV jones Classic in the bridge. I've tried a few P90's in the guitar and this is one that finally gives it the voice it deserves. Plummy / flutey on its own and THE perfect rhythm sound when mixed with the humbucker, seriously couldn't be happier with it.
